Meh

Very good scripting and gameplay, but other than that not much else to see here.

I can see a lot of time and effort went into making the characters and background, but you didn't really change anything up. You should have just used sprites since you didn't change anything up with the character design.

Plus the live system has become quite an annoyance. Live systems were used back in arcade days to ensure the player used as many quarters as possible. If I were still that sniffling 12 year old I was 4 years ago, I would have exited the game and blammed it by the second game over.

Overall you lacked originality in a completely unoriginal subject.

and yes I realize it's not your fault it's been done a thousand times before you, but show some god damn dignity.

It kept me going for about 5 levels, but I couldn't see the ball when that giant pulsating caption came up proclaiming that I had a 2x combo

really good scripting, fun and simple fighting sequences , pure awesomeness...
but did it have to be mario, you could have had just some guy named Bill punching ninjas in the face, but if mario is what you like, and what everyone else likes then so be it
